The Pollock-Kranser House and Study Center in Springs, East Hampton resides in the house that Lee and Jackson purchased in 1945 and made their own. The home, studio and surrounding property on Accabonac Creek preserve and capture the aura of modern art's famous painting couple in their artistic and everyday lives. I stopped in on Friday to breathe in the inspiration and pick up a copy of Robyn Lea's new book Dinner With Jackson Pollock in their excellent museum shop. The Accabonac view is breath taking.
Lee and Jackson must have felt like Eve and Adam.
Creation and inspiration are present here.

Thinking of Robyn Lea's book, I was most observant in the kitchen.
