A Garden's Gift

The garden is fresh and lush. Early summer unveils its first blooms. Peonies replace rhododendrons, roses stretch towards the sun. Wild mountain laurel fill the woods. From the old garden bench, a beautiful view soothes the soul. Time to breathe and reflect. To pray for those who suffer loss. To think of those I love. To be thankful. To choose to love and not hate. To create rather than destroy. This day is a gift.

The weather turns rainy. Indoor art therapy is the order of the day.
Thank you to Lois Bender for her watercolor tutorial.  A special thank you to Monique at La Table De Nana for her extraordinary encouragement and the gift of fine sheets of watercolor paper.
