Plein Air Towd Point

A narrow strip of road sprinkled with beach cottages runs out to Towd Point. Towd is derived from an Algonquin word meaning wading place. Each cottage has its own water access for fishing, a paddle or to wade right in for a swim. We visited to paint en plein air.
We set up our painting gear near an area used as a boat ramp.

Of course, this beauty was only beached here for a moment.
The owner wasn't convinced to strike a pose.
